The highly efficient FlexoPress Range – short web path for printing top quality self-adhesive labels, unsupported paper, tickets, tags,
aluminium foil, flexible packaging materials from 25 to 250 microns (0.001” to 0.010”) and light weight cartons up to 300gsm

Unwind: Strong double side frame unit, 1 meter dia roll capacity (40”) with closed loop automatic web tension control, one cantilever 76mm (3”) diameter air shaft – 50kg load rating (110lbs), electronic web edge guide with sensor for clear and opaque materials with inline pneumatic splice table, web cleaner with anti-static for cleaning both sides of the web – top and bottom.

Print stations: Modular construction (two print stations per module) made from precision cast aluminium tooling plate with strong one-piece 20mm (7/8”) thick side frames that are CNC machined to a high tolerance. The print stations themselves are a two roll flexographic system incorporating a non-foam and non-splash inking system with fast action print cylinders running in precision needle bearings. Anilox and inking / fountain rollers run in precision sealed ball race bearings. Laser engraved ceramic anilox rolls – 60 to 475 L/cm (150 to 1,200 LPI) with reverse angle doctor blade. Auto print impression on / off when press starts and stops. Constant turn anilox ink rolls when press is stopped – if required. The print cylinder is spring loaded to allow for 6mm side-across adjustment. Length register adjustment 360 degrees by advancing or, retarding the servo motor (or, eccentric roller on mechanical press).

Digital print: Single colour UV ink jet 210mm wide print swathe, ideal for A4 document printing, transactional mailing, multiple lane bar coding, numbering and printing variable data on the fly up to 60m/min

Cold foil: Moveable cold foil / lamination unit mounted on a rail above the press which can be positioned at any print station.

Dryers: Fully automatic UV dryer after each print station with variable power up to 160w/cm.

Die Cutting: Three rotary die cutting stations each one with independent side adjustment 10mm (3/8”) having 12” repeat through hardened (63 Rockwell)
anvil rollers that can be removed easily for top and bottom die cutting. The anvils run in precision deep groove needle bearings. Length register adjustment 360 degrees by advancing or, retarding the servo motor (or, eccentric roller on mechanical press).

Laminating: Fixed position lamination unit for UV over lamination at the last print station or, self-adhesive lamination at the die station.

Slitting: Three air operated rotary crush cut slitters with side adjustment.

Rewinding: 1 meter dia roll capacity (40”) two cantilever product rewind airshafts 76mm (3”) dia. with electronic web tension control. Single cantilever
waste matrix airshaft 76mm (3”) dia. – 50kg load rating (110lbs) with electronic web tension control.

Control: Simple and easy to use Colour touch screen HMI, PLC controlled.
